Recommendation & Guidance
The Skardu valley is accessible via road and by air. The road route is connected from Islamabad and it takes almost 20 hours to reach by vehicle.
The by air departure points are from Islamabad and Karachi direct to the Skardu valley. There are normally one or two flights from the Islamabad but from Karachi only few flights are flown in a month. Generally, it takes an hour to reach by air. The flight charges from Islamabad to Skardu are in the range of 8,000 to 16,000 Pakistani rupees.
When, you reach the Skardu airport you can depart toward the city to book a hotel. There are wide range of options in terms of affordability and luxury.

You will stay in the Skardu city and from there you can access all the places that are mentioned above.
It will take around two to three days to explore the whole region around Skardu. We highly recommend to visit the Deosai plains after end of touring all other beautiful places. It is due to the reason that Deosai is located at high altitude and far away from city, so you need a full day and a special vehicle such as 4×4.
